Rosemary Corte is deeply rooted to the South. She was born in Greenville, Alabama, attended secondary school in Georgia, college in Mississippi, and is married to her fourth-generation farmer husband, Jay, in southern Alabama, where they raise their two children, Jay, a fifth-generation farmer, and Hallie, an equestrian.
As a graduate of Ole Miss with a concentration in design and art history, Rosemary began her career in the interior design industry in Atlanta. She later worked in the fine jewelry business in Birmingham, gaining extensive knowledge in watches, stones, and metals, which peaked her love of jewelry. After managing five family-owned companies with her husband, her entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish Harvest Jewels in 2015. The name Harvest Jewels is a natural fit lending itself to the family’s farming heritage.
With a creative mind and passion for jewelry, Rosemary has grown Harvest Jewels from a small designing outlet to her line being featured in retailers in Alabama and across state lines. This momentum has carried over into a thriving online store with a fierce Harvest following. Rosemary designs timeless, boho-chic pieces with her unique use of materials that turn heads and keep loyal customers coming back for more.
The foundation of her success stems from a flair for design as well as her drive to give back to the community. Since she began Harvest Jewels, Rosemary has continued to live by her core values of family and philanthropy. After cancer touched her family’s life, she was inspired to create a piece of jewelry with a portion of its proceeds gifted to the American Cancer Society. Rosemary gains inspiration from experiences like these, in addition to her surrounding farmland, her daughter’s equestrian passion, and the South to design Harvest’s stylish and sophisticated everyday diamond collection.
